Thanks Debo. I will speak for many when I say that we consider you to be OUR fishin friend!! A guy came up to me while I was fishing a local pond last weekend, and asked me if I could give him some pointers. He had purchased some fishing gear but hadn’t used it yet. Said he really wanted to learn to fish. I spent about an hour helping him spool up his reel, tie on a Texas rig, and make a few casts, before I had to leave. I told him a good way to learn was bass fishing channels on UA-cam and told to start with Debo!! Cheers!!!😊

Still hyped that Debo has a native now! Debo idk about you, but when I bring the big boots to launch I change them out while I fish just because they’re so cumbersome and awkward when pedaling, I recently heard. Kayaks are a gateway drug to crocs 😅😂

I always used spinning reels and I’m getting back into fishing and I bought 2 spinning reels and they both are way to loose even if you try and tighten the drag all the way if you barley pull the line it comes out with the bail closed is there a way to fix that?

Talking about quantum, this past 12 months I've finally been retiring my 20+ year old baitcasters. They were hard worked and did me well. I would have possibly gone with new quantum ones but no one carries them in store and prefer to get my hands on things before buying them

Oh man! We're winning you over to the lite tackle side. Fun times.. really! Still won't go BFS but I love my ultra lites! So much fun. Especially when the big guys aren't bitting. Those Ryugi micro hooks are awesome! Weightless or Texas rigged. Can't go wrong with ZMan! Like the Shad Fry Z's, but my favorite is the LarvaZ! Caught a 2lb. 15 oz. Largemouth on that and an i_fish 1g BG-1 jig head on 6 lb. braid with a 4 lb. mono leader. Mule Fishing products are also in my bag. That Jack Worm is awesome!!! Burro Bugs and Horse Flys have also worked well for me, and Donkey Tail Jr.s need NO comment! Hope to see you using more of this stuff in future videos. Blessings!

I recently bought a KVD LFS Lews . I got it from a Guns and Ammo store that wants to get rid of all their fishing gear for 50% off. I know it was a good deal , but how would you think it compares to the Lews you have? I don't have much experience with baitcasters. I'm kicking myself for not getting a Tatula when it was available.

Been thinking about getting into bfs. But I already have a bunch of ultralight spinning combos. I think the spinning set ups lend themselves better to finesse/ultralight lures! Didn’t know zman made ultralight lures definitely gonna have to pick some of that stuff up. Thanks for the video!

I'm likely old fashioned, but am disabled now and cannot fish. Seems to me the whole fishing deal is off base. The setups, lines, baits and colors don't catch fish....none of that makes a difference if you're not fishing where the fish are, but it seems there is very little talk about finding them. When you find them.... most any old bait and color will catch them.. let's get back to the basics!

If you like the cleanup craw, try the bronco bug. It’s by far one of my baits I carry with me now. I really like the hinge design and I feel like it generates more bites. I likes the craw but I love the bug for flipping

I did pretty much the same them I didn't use them for a long time. Now I use them very regularly. They're a simple but a great lure.

It's amazing how much the fishing rod and reels have changed! I started bass fishing 1983 with an ambassador 5000 used with a 5'6" Browning boron graphite rod with pistol grip! I bought for $100 and wow I thought it was the best!!!! Lol😅😂

I’d love to see a head to head review of the $100 reels! I’m looking to upgrade to this price point from my beginner combos soon. So this would be helpful!
